Collection: Peter Colbert

THE ARTIST

Peter Colbert is originally from Vancouver, BC, and has spent most of his life in Toronto. He received a diploma from Humber College for Graphic Design, and won a scholarship to OCAD in Toronto, where he spent an additional 2 years studying fine art and illustration. His career as a commercial artist consisted of developing concepts, designing, rendering using pens and markers, and illustrating using inks, watercolour and acrylic paints. During this phase of his life, Peter realized the value of presenting unique and arresting ideas, brought to life with passion and flair.

Peter has received awards as a designer, illustrator and fine artist. His work is available in galleries in Canada and the United States, and is collected worldwide. He is the president of his local chapter of Toastmasters International, and lives in Ottawa with his family.
