Yomi Orimoloye

THE ARTIST

Yomi Orimoloye is a Nigerian-born, self-taught visual artist who lives and works in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. In 2019, Yomi obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa. As an emerging artist in the Ottawa art scene, Yomi has participated in a variety of group exhibitions, including the virtual art exhibition “Prism II” by Envision Arts (2021) and “Art + Parcel” at the Ottawa Art Gallery Annexe (2020, 2021). Alongside exhibitions, Yomi’s work has been featured in magazines such as Nosymag (2021), Le Pressoir (2020), and Pace Mag (2018). Yomi’s works have been collected both nationally and internationally.
